Through the Internet is virally spread a video that shows how to open wine bottle with a cork without opener. This will certainly interested wine lovers.
We're not sure how this method is feasible and useful, but judging by the video demonstrates a technique in which a Frenchman from the winery Mirebau, removing cork is pretty easy - just nine shots in the wall over the toe of the shoe and the cork is half outside. The rest of the work is done by hand. Voila! (see video below).
An American radio team decided to investigate how this method feasible. They came up with interesting findings:
1. this technique does not work on plastic corks
2. heel shoes should be solid (not applicable on sneakers)
3. heel must not be too high because then changes the angle of attack in the bottle wall, in other words, the angle in relation to the bottle wall must be 90 degrees
4. bottle, of course, must be laid horizontally - you can not hit it on the floor!
