Human Media Lab produced a fully functional mobile with three e-ink screens.
Until now we have seen mobile phones with two screens that can be folded into a single device like a tablet, but the team Human Media Lab of the University of Queens, thinks that they lack another.
They have therefore developed a prototype of a fully functional smartphone called PaperFold, which owns three screens, which can be separated or overlap in a single device, which already creates the impression of "serious" tablet, with the proviso that possesses some more opportunities. Among other things, the device can be used so you all three screens have a navigation map. You can folded down three screens with images of different parts of a building in which a 3D object model then you can print directly with a 3D printer.
Team Human Media Lab currently has no intention to bring this phone to the market, already it has produced only as a demonstration of the possibilities offered by the new screens with e-ink technology.
